Rest looks different for every person and we have tailored the experience to nurture the mom who needs an adventurous canoe trip to remember a simpler, carefree season - and the mom who needs to curl up alone with a book in her quiet, cozy cottage.
Here’s what you can expect at Mom Summer Camp:
All your meals and snacks - that you don’t have to prepare!
Greet the morning with sunrise Pilates and yoga sessions, with an afternoon Pilates session for those who aren’t early risers
Dip your toes in the clear, cool river, or jump in a kayak, canoe, or tube for a scenic river float.
Enjoy the gifts of nature with peaceful hikes on the C&O canal.
Opportunities for connection with women who understand many of the unique aspects of your life. This is an intentional goal of the retreat, achieved through curated social experiences, optional adventures, gathering for meals, and campfire discussions.
Three thoughtfully prepared workshops to support your health and wellness.
Plenty of free time for relaxing and recharging: leisure reading, journaling, coffee walks, star-gazing, board and yard games… maybe even a nap!
The many holistic benefits nature provides: decreased cortisol, nervous system regulation, reduced stress and anxiety, and improved mood, to name a few.

You love getting outdoors (or want to love it).
You want to disconnect from technology (no Wifi!) and daily responsibilities.
You crave connection with other like-minded women.
You don’t mind getting a little dirty, and exchanging luxury amenities for fresh air and stargazing.
-
The “No Service” icon on your phone gives you heart palpitations. While there is a land line for emergencies, we will otherwise be digitally detoxing.
You consider a spider to be a “security breach.” Junebugs, spiders, and the wider bug population don’t always respect personal space. If you feel the need to call a Camp Counselor because a cricket is chirping too loudly near your yurt, the local wildlife life might not be for you.
You haven’t shared a room with other ladies since 2003. We will all be up in each others’ space. If that gives you anxiety, you can purchase any ticket as a private accommodation.
“Dirt” is a dirty word in your home. There will be dirt. Maybe even some mud. It is quite possible your belongings will return home a nice shade of “Earth.” If you prefer nature viewed through a window, the WV wilderness might be a dealbreaker.
We aren’t “woo woo.” But if you’re coming only to play and not dig in a little deeper, this might not be your retreat.
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required today. An invoice for the remaining
balance will be emailed to you, and must be paid in full before April 15, 2026.
Your investment will be $397 - $647 for the entire weekend experience.
